Program Duration
The one-year Master’s program follows the trimester system in which the academic year is divided into three sessions: the first session from August to November, the second session from December to March, and the third session from April to July. Each Trimester lasts approximately 15 weeks. Students are required to complete their coursework in the first two trimesters. Thesis proposal or Independent Study (IS) defense often takes place during the second Trimester of the program. Students then take 1-2 trimesters to work on their thesis or Individual Study (IS).

The Master of Arts Program in Population Policy and Human Development is the first master’s Program in Thailand with the aim to provide top-notch knowledge in Demography applied to population policy and human development at the national and organizational levels.
